A big ‘thank you’ to community

After much prayerful consideration, I wish to advise that I have decided not to seek re-election to the office of County Court Judge. There is another opportunity which I wish to pursue.
I feel greatly blessed to have had the opportunity to serve the people and specifically the children and youth of Adams County for the past 30 years.
I am humbled by the support which I have experienced and am proud of the court and court services which, working with so many great folks, we have developed.
I appreciate and treasure the many professional relationships forged.
I thank the people of this wonderful community for allowing me the opportunity to work in this capacity. I love Natchez and Adams County. This community nurtured me in my childhood and has supported me and allowed me to pursue my passion in my professional endeavors.
I thank God for this blessing and being an ever present guide as we sought to serve the most vulnerable members of our community — at-risk children and their families. I trust we have made a difference in their lives.
I look forward with great anticipation to the next eight months as I complete my tenure.
I pledge that I will support my successor in any way I can and I will assist in pursuing more opportunities to serve the children of Adams County.
