FAYETTE — Services for Joseph Ellis “Rudy” King, 11, of Fayette, who died Sunday, May 4, 2014, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, will be at noon Saturday at Mt. Zion Church of God.
Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of Spencer Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. King was born Nov. 10, 2002, in Natchez, the son of Phylisha King.
Rudy had a lot of love to give and was loved by so many. He enjoyed watching “SpongeBob” cartoons, being read to and listening to music.
He was a student at Jefferson County Elementary School and Special Services.
Survivors include his mother; grandfather, Ellis King; six uncles, James Phipps, Willie Humes, Nathaniel King, Early King Jr. and Lee King; six aunts, Lula Green, Dorothy Williams, Diane Delany, Rosie Ellis, Shirley Thompson and Shelia Hicks.
