UMB announces addition of Stedman to bank board

NATCHEZ — Samuel P. Porter, president/CEO of United Mississippi Bank, recently announced the addition to the bank’s board of Sue Hood Stedman.
Stedman received her Associate of Arts from Hinds Community College and her Bachelor of Science in business and industry (accounting) from Mississippi State University.
She presently serves as the vice president of Crye-Leike Stedman Realtors.
Stedman is known for her dedicated involvement in the community by serving on boards and as a member of many organizations, such as, Natchez Inc., the Natchez-Adams County Humane Society, the Pilgrimage Garden Club, the Krewe of Phoenix, the Natchez Community Hospital Board of Trustees, the Mississippi Community College Board and the Natchez Board of Realtors.
She is a past alderwoman for the City of Natchez, a recipient of the Athena Award and Realtor of the Year.
She is married to Joe W. Stedman, and they are the parents of one daughter, Stacy Stedman Holloway, who is the wife of Murray Holloway, and they are the grandparents of three girls, Molly, Abby and Emily Holloway.
The Stedmans are members of First Baptist Church.
