NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Betty C. Boyd, 84, of Natchez, who died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Gerald Buckley officiating.

Burial will follow in the cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Boyd was born Nov. 29, 1929, in Biltmore, N.C., the daughter of Elgar Baxtor Crayton and Mary Lucille Moore Crayton.

She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church where she was the church organist for 35 years.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Ray Boyd; one son Kenny Boyd and wife, Rhonda, of Natchez; one daughter, Judy Mason of Natchez; grand children, Matt Mason and wife, Amanda, of Jena,La., Kara Masling and husband, Chris, of Monroe, Mark Boyd and wife, Kim, of Brandon, April Boyd and fiancée, John Bowen, of Flowood, seven great grandchildren; one brother, Bill Crayton and wife, Shirley, of Flint, Mich.; one sister, Mildred Bennett and husband, Don, of Atlanta; and a number of nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be Matt Mason, Mark Boyd, Chris Masling, Tyler Mason, John Bowen and Jeff Rymer.
