Ferriday Farmer’s Market set for return
Published 12:06 am Friday, April 25, 2014
The Ferriday Farmer’s Market will reopen in mid-May. I wanted to take this time to thank those who made last year a tremendous success, and I encourage your continued support.
In the same breath, I want to encourage everyone in the Miss-Lou to come out and visit with us and purchase some fresh produce.
We are presently going through the process of having our farmer’s market certified by the State of Louisiana.
We are tentatively set to open in mid-May and to remain open through late September. This season, we will be open two days a week, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Saturdays. We plan to have plenty of music, food and fun for the entire family.
I will spend the next couple of weeks putting a marketing plan together to make certain that our neighbors in Clayton, Vidalia, Natchez and surrounding areas know that the Ferriday Farmer’s Market exists and where we are located, 1101 1st St. in Ferriday.
Please feel free to share this information within your respective networks.
