Celebrating Good Friday has been an annual event at Zion Hill No. 1 Baptist Church. Each year, this event empowers us mentally and spiritually. Zion Hill family celebrates Good Friday as one of the most solemn, yet one of the holiest days of the entire year. This year’s program is filled with preaching, praising and singing.
This year’s guest pastors are the Rev. Wilsonni Johnson; the Rev. Clifton Marvel; the Rev. James Brooks; the Rev. Melvin Jackson, bishop; the Rev. Alvin Dey, the Rev. Robert Cade, bishop; and our very own pastor, the Rev. J.W. Pickett.
Zion Hill Senior Choir is all geared up for this special event. They will be singing and praising the Lord in songs.
The Missionary Society will be celebrating 22 years sponsoring the Good Friday program. Come out and help them commemorate the death of Jesus Christ on the cross, the act that brought salvation to all who believe.
