WATERPROOF — Services for Alma Banks, 85, of Waterproof, who died Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Vicksburg Convalescent Nursing Home in Vicksburg, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Ms. Banks was born Jan. 15, 1929, in Waterproof, the daughter of Aaron and Irene Scott Banks.

Ms. Banks was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Willie Lee, Johnny Banks and Edward Banks; and one daughter, Juanita Hardin.

Survivors include one son, Henry Banks and wife, Ella Margaret, of Lufkin, Texas; three daughters, Mary Harden and husband, Billy, of Port Gibson, Alma Dotray and husband, Michael, of Monroe, and Alice Banks of Waterproof; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
