Kevin Cooper’s commentary “Bankruptcy not a cure all for NRMC” in Sunday’s newspaper expressed the same thoughts shared by my wife and I.

In our view, Walter Brown has been in some “shady” places. No information or partial information.

The settlement rumor as to what NRMC received is a large chunk of money that could be used to pay off debt. It seems that the hospital administration did not do that.

The money is gone, so where did it go? The county supervisors get no info. It was stated a month or so ago that the hospital board would send the supervisors the financial info.

The info has not been forwarded yet, so far as I know. Judging by the info we have (or have not) received, this financial position of NRMC has a definite stink to it.

I ask again, where did the settlement money go?
