It’s that time again — to brush off that Big Heart of yours and celebrate Valentine’s!
Make plans now for 7 p.m. Friday to attend the Natchez Festival of Music’s annual Valentine Day Gala. This year, the fun will be at the Bailey House at 400 South Commerce St., when the Festival hosts a special young New Orleans musical duo and live auction.
Vocalist Melanie Gardner and guitarist Daniel Schroeder will perform jazz standards and cover tunes with an eclectic song list that offers something for everyone.
The two have performed all over the Southeast United States at restaurants, bars, coffee houses, weddings, corporate events and private parties. Down the road later, you may even find them at a Natchez party. This duo is sensational.
The ticket price is $100 per person and includes musical entertainment, catered food, open bar and the live auction, with Natchez native Rusty Jenkins as the auctioneer.
This annual auction is always full of surprises and usually includes a great vacation place. All proceeds go to putting on the annual May Festival Season when, in this 24th season, the signature event is a tribute to The Beatles coming to America.
Help us celebrate the Festival as the primary sponsor of live, world-class music and theater, as well as internationally and nationally-recognized performers in the Miss-Lou year-around leading up to the May Festival Season.
This Festival is unique in Mississippi and may be the longest established Festival of its kind in the state. We need your help to take this Festival to the next level.
Give me a call at 601-807-3585 if you have any questions. Tickets for this and all Festival events are available through Natchez Pilgrimage Tours, which can be reached by phone at 601-446-6631 or 800-647-6742, in person at 640 South Canal St., or at the door.
