Amanda Jenkins pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false pretense.
Travon S. Lyles charged with grand larceny. Case bound over to a grand jury. Lyles was also charged with burglary of a commercial building. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Kenneth Carver pleaded guilty to simple assault.
William C. Bradley pleaded guilty to domestic violence.
Fabian M. Diaz pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia.

Friday, Jan. 3:
Victor L. Quinn, 43, pleaded guilty to 11 counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Total fine set at $3,872.24.
Nicholas Halford, 29, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 26 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve four days in jail. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.
Tashaka M. King, 29, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 24 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve six days in jail. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.
Willard Sims Jr. pleaded not guilty to simple assault — domestic violence. Released on medical recognizance.
Monday, Jan. 6:
Elijah Kendrick Hoggatt, 39, pleaded guilty to petit larceny. Fine set at $257.95.
Larry Thomas, 45, charged with simple assault. Case dismissed — victim not served.
Christopher Alexander Malone, 25, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. To sit in jail for eight days; start from arrest date. No fine assessed.
Sherry D. Payne, 44, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.
Henrietta Lewis pleaded guilty to four counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days concurrently on each count. Total fine set at $2,132.57.
Tuesday, Jan. 7:
Ashley White, 29, charged with shoplifting — over $500 (felony). Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $20,000 to $10,000.
Tarsha L. McGuire, 37, charged with shoplifting — over $500 (felony). Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $20,000 to $10,000.
Akelia McDonald, 25, charged with shoplifting — over $500 (felony). Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond reduced from $20,000 to $10,000.
Krystal Dennis-Morgan, 30, charged with grand larceny. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $25,000. Dennis-Morgan was also charged with grand larceny. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bond set at $25,000.
Takarri Thamora Wallace, 37, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor petit larceny. Fine set at $450. Restitution set at $258.66 to be paid to Pull a Part. Fines may be satisfied by time served.
Wednesday, Jan. 8:
Cassie Fairley, 34, charged with disturbing the peace. Case dismissed as state case — victim unable to be served.
Katherine Polk Walker, 29, charged with DUI first offense test refusal and leaving the scene of an accident, property damage to attend vehicle. Case dismissed — upon defendant’s motion to dismiss, the court finds that citation No. 5365 has not been properly sworn to and it its therefore fatally defective. The DUI citation is dated Nov. 3, 2013, but the Intox No. 1P-01E shows a test date of Nov. 11, 2013, (12 days earlier) and the witness, Timothy Guice, for leaving the scene charge is not present for trial. Therefore, both charges are dismissed and defendant’s attorney should present proof of insurance.
Kenneth Vance Morgan, 48, pleaded guilty to petit larceny. Sentenced to 30 days with 26 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve four days in jail and 11 days of house arrest. No fine assessed.
Kendrick Lee Thomas, 20, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 22 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit for eight days served. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573 minus $125 credit. Must pay a fine of $448.
