Monday, Dec. 9

Daniel Allen Armstrong, 36, charged with DUI first offense no test. Case dismissed. Prosecution motioned to continue based on officer at school. Defense motion to dismiss was granted. DUI test machine was not working. Defendant requested blood test when machine was not working and officers denied opportunity for defendant submit blood.

Wednesday, Dec. 11

Janakia Patrick, 19, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve three days in jail. Fine set at $598.

Crystal M. Gordon, 25, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 23 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve seven days in jail. Banned from Belk. Fine set at $573.

Kinshasa O’Quinn, 21, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve one day in jail. Fine set at $573.

Geremias Cruz, 26, pleaded guilty to willful trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Kelvin T. Thompson, 40, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Served six days in jail. No fines assessed.

Natasha Harris pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Served six days in jail. No fines assessed.

Maria Wilson pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve two days in jail. Fine set at $473.

Friday, Dec. 13

Twan Patterson, 29, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false pretense. Total fine set at $463.

Reva Shayne Carter, 25, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.

Reginald Dorsey, 25, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.

Monday, Dec. 16

Larry Thomas, 21, pleaded guilty to contempt of court — did not complete work release. Sentenced to 30 days. If paid in full, defendant is to be released.

Ricardo Page, 20, pleaded guilty to amended charge of shoplifting — second offense. Sentenced to serve 32 days. No fines assessed.

Claude A. Pressgrove, 52, pleaded guilty to amended charge of misdemeanor disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Two days served. Fine set at $473.

Sherry L. Bailey, 46, pleaded guilty to amended charge of misdemeanor disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Two days served. Fine set at $473.

Wednesday, Dec. 18

Felicia Lashaye Moore, 34, charged with resisting arrest. Case dismissed — prosecution motion to continue, defense motion to dismiss granted.

Tavarres Davis, 19, charged with possession of a controlled substance. Prosecution motion to continue. Defense motion to dismiss granted. Timeline for prosecution is three to six months and metro narcotics must be engaged to package material to transport to crime lab.

Myron Reshard Byndom, 19, charged with possession of a controlled substance. Prosecution motion to continue. Defense motion to dismiss granted. Timeline for prosecution is three to six months and metro narcotics must be engaged to package material to transport to crime lab.

Felicia Lasha Moore, 34, charged with failure to maintain insurance proof in vehicle. Case dismissed — both parties not present. Prosecution motion to continue; defense motion to dismiss granted.

Tyrone Dewayne Shelton, 30, pleaded guilty to trespassing. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. No fines assessed.

James Bernard, 18, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 25 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Five days served. Banned from Walmart. No fines assessed.

Kerry Lamonic Weir, 39, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days with four days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve six days in jail. No fines assessed.

Travis Washington pleaded guilty to simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 48 hours in jail. Fine set at $573.

Thomas Wayne Thompson, charged with telephone harassment. Case dismissed on written request of victim.

Jerald Mason, found guilty of shoplifting. Sentenced to 30 days, 29 days suspended. To serve 24 hours. Fine set at $573. Banned from Walmart.

Demetria Riggiins, found guilty of shoplifting. Sentenced to 30 days in jail, 27 days suspended. To serve three days. Banned from Walmart.

Trevor Watson, found guilty of misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Fine set at $493. Driver’s license suspended for six months.

Shenita N. Mosby, found guilty of misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Fine set at $493. Driver’s license suspended for six months.

Joseph Dunbar III, found guilty of simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days, 28 days suspended. To serve 48 hours. Fine set at $623.

Donald Carter, charged with disorderly conduct failure to comply. Case remanded to files. Carter was also found guilty of resisting arrest. Sentenced to 30 days in jail, suspended. Fine set at $548.
