This year, more than 500 children will receive toys for Christmas because of donations from Jefferson Street United Methodist Church, St. Mary Parish, First Natchez Radio Group, JCPenney, the Miss-Lou United Way, Junior Auxiliary and Assumption Church, who adopted local families to purchase gifts for the holidays. Catholic Charities has been donating toys to needy children in the area for more than 20 years.
