Eddie Jones pleaded guilty to uttering a forgery.

Jerry Thomas charged with intimidation of a witness. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Friday, Nov. 15:

Ronnie Donta Johnson, 21, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Javel Laroy Ridley, 19, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana while operating a motor vehicle. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $493.

Jenifer Johnson, 29, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 24 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for six days served. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.

Monday, Nov. 18:

Stephanie Ross, 33, charged with shoplifting — first offense. On joint motion of prosecution and defense, the case is remanded to files in consideration of defense waiving any civil action against Walmart for consideration in this cause of defendant’s explanation of mistake in use of the self checkout system.

Freddie Lee Ray, 57, pleaded guilty to littering. Fine set at $249 minus $100 paid on this date. Must still pay a fine of $149.

Dorothy Perry, 51, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — second offense. Sentenced to 60 days with 43 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 17 days in jail. Fine set at $673.

Tuesday, Nov. 19:

Tyaundra Batteaste, 36, charged with burglary of an inhabited dwelling with a weapon. Defendant failed to appear. Waived preliminary hearing in his absence. Case bound over to the grand jury.

Audrea S. Pernell, 24, charged with embezzlement of more than $500/felony. Defendant failed to appear and or perform for misdemeanor plea. Therefore, waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to the grand jury.

Lavonne Belron, 46, charged with felony false pretense. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to the grand jury.

Harvesta Marsaw Woods, 68, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor shoplifting. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. To serve three days in jail. Banned from Belk. Fine set at $573. Bond set at $5,000.

Jermaine Albert, 24, charged with uttering a forgery. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to the grand jury.

Datarrius Matthews, 20, charged with uttering a forgery. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to the grand jury. Bond reduced from $8,500 to $5,000.

James W. Broussard, 43, charged with two counts of felony false pretense. Waived preliminary hearing on each count. Case bound over to the grand jury. Bond set at $7,500 on first count and $17,500 on second count.

Michael S. Simpson, 31, charged with aggravated assault — domestic violence/felony. Case remanded to files.

Nedra N. Thornburg, 37, charged with disturbing the peace. Case dismissed — officer did not appear — on suspension.

Joshua Williams, 54, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Eight days served in jail to satisfy fine. Fine set at $473.

Ricky McGruder Jr., 26, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $493.

Melissa Anderson, 18, pleaded guilty to six counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 60 days with 53 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Credit given for seven days served. Total fine set at $2,280.83.

Timothy Collins, 18, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $573.

Kerry Lemonic Weir, 29, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. To serve eight days in jail. No fines assessed.

Ronald Latham, 44, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Darius Carter pleaded guilty to DUS — implied. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for 48 hours served. To serve one day in jail. Fine set at $652.

Jimmy Knight pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. To serve five days in jail. No fines assessed.
