I was not surprised to learn in your Monday edition that police do have the right to police private property when violations occur.

And Walmart is a prime location for violations of the handicapped parking laws. Obviously, Walmart needs to create more parking spots for the handicapped.

And just as obviously, police need to at least occasionally ticket violators. And there are many of them.

In several years of shopping there, I have never seen a policeman ticket a violator.

It seems to me that word would spread quickly if this were to happen, especially if The Democrat gave that enforcement a little publicity.
