Three locals join UMB’s management team

NATCHEZ — United Mississippi Bank President/CEO Samuel Porter recently announced additions to the bank’s management team.
Joshua B. Wilson joined UMB as vice president and manager for the Vidalia branch, which is now open in its temporary location on Carter Street in Vidalia.
He is a graduate of Adams County Christian School, received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with specializations in management and marketing and attended Northwestern State University.
Wilson most recently served as a consumer, commercial and mortgage lender with Delta Bank for 7.5 years. Prior to his work at Delta Bank, he served four years as director of student activities and career development at Louisiana College.
Wilson is a member of the Concordia Parish Chamber of Commerce, past member of the Lions Club and past board member of the United Way of the Miss-Lou.
He is married to the former Amanda Dixon of Shreveport and they are the parents of one son, Eli.
They are active members of First Baptist Church of Vidalia where he has served on numerous committees.
Christopher B. Maxwell has joined UMB as vice president/chief information officer.
He is a graduate of South Natchez High School and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana Tech.
Maxwell previously served as chief technology officer with Britton & Koontz Bank for 12 years.
He is married to the former Emily Plauche of Natchez and they are the parents of two daughters, Parker Claire and Anne Bailey Maxwell.
The Maxwells are active members of St. Mary Basilica. Chris is a past president of Krewe of Phoenix and a past president of NLT.
Lauren B. Middleton has joined UMB as vice president/loan review.
She is a graduate of Cathedral High School, received her Bachelor of Science in accounting from Louisiana State University and her master’s of business administration from University of Southern Mississippi. Middleton is a certified public accountant and a personal financial specialist.
Middleton previously served as a partner with The Gillon Group, PLLC for seven years and has two years banking experience.
She is a member of the Natchez Garden Club, treasurer of PSEH, treasurer and chairman-elect of the Natchez-Adams County Chamber of Commerce and vice president of the Southwest Society of CPAs.
She is married to Wes Middleton and they are the parents of son, Jake, and daughter, Adele.
