ACCS has 7 players score in 46-0 win versus ASC

LIBERTY — Adams County Christian School tallied 282 yards rushing and had seven different players score in a 46-0 win against Amite School Center Friday.
Parker Rymer scored the first touchdown with 11:43 left in the first quarter on a 56-yard pass from Tyler Stockstill. Lester Wells added a touchdown with 9:34 remaining in the first on a 64-yard run.
Chisum Mardis got in on the action with a 30-yard touchdown run at the 4:22 mark in the first quarter, and Torrey Smith added a touchdown after scooping up an ASC fumble and running it in from 50 yards out.
In the second quarter, Zach Young had a 36-yard touchdown run with 10:53 remaining, and Matthew Rymer later scored on a 5-yard carry with five minutes left in the half. The visiting Rebels led 40-0 at intermission.
In the fourth quarter, Pete Guedon scored ACCS’s final touchdown with 8:27 remaining in the game.
Wells led ACCS in rushing with his 64 yards on his only carry of the evening, and Young tallied 45 yards on two attempts. Matthew Rymer had three rushes for 16 yards, and Mardis had two carries for 37 yards. Guedon had 22 yards on two attempts.
Stockstill was 3 for 6 in passing with 69 yards and a touchdown, and Parker Rymer led in receiving with 56 yards on his only catch of the game.
Defensively, Brandon Ross, who tallied 11 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble, led the visiting Rebels. Mardis had 10 tackles and two sacks, and Brandt Pugh and Christopher White both totaled four tackles and a sack.
ACCS (7-1, 2-0) returns home next week to face Central Hinds Academy.
