23rd annual Adams County Soil and Water Conservation meeting set for Oct. 10

You are cordially invited to attend the 23rd Annual Meeting of the Adams County Soil and Water Conservation District at 6 p.m. Oct. 10 at Co-Lin’s Natchez Campus in the Nelson Multi-Purpose Room.
If you are interested in the Conservation of soil, water and other natural resources, please join us on this occasion.
We promise it will be both entertaining and informative.
Homer Wilkes, director of Gulf Coast Regional Programs, will be our keynote speaker for the evening.
Jeff Stewart, director of MS Agriculture and Livestock Theft Bureau will present a program on agriculture and livestock theft.
Lively music from a fun loving group, Walton Jones, rector at Trinity Episcopal Church, C. J. Meaders, chaplain at Trinity School and curate at Trinity Church and Jamie Blanton, parishioner at Trinity Church are scheduled for the meeting.
The menu, prepared by Valley Food Service at Co-Lin, will feature seasoned pork tenderloin, wild rice, English peas, garden salad, roll, fruit cobbler for dessert, water and tea, and is at a cost of $10 per person.
