Holmes promoted to rank of warrant officer in Guard

LAFAYETTE — Army National Guard Warrant Officer 1 Amanda K. Holmes has been promoted to the rank of warrant officer one in the U.S. Army National Guard.
Holmes is a human resources specialist assigned to the 256th Infantry Brigade at Lafayette, in the Louisiana National Guard. The warrant officer has served in the military for 25 years.
She is the mother of Kenneth Demouchet of John Road, Breaux Bridge, La., and Greg Guidry of Woodville.
She is the daughter of Cathy Thompson also of Woodville.
Holmes received a bachelor of arts in 2008 from Saint Leo University, Fla.
