NATCHEZ — Steven W. Hinson Jr. recently joined the staff of the accounting firm Silas Simmons LLP.

Hinson earned his bachelor of accountancy degree from Mississippi State University in December 2011.

He also received his master of taxation degree from Mississippi State University in August 2013.

While attending Mississippi State, he was a member of Beta Alpha Psi.

Hinson, a native of Yazoo City, is the son of Steven and Kristine Hinson.

He is married to Casey with two children, daughter Alexis Nicole and son Tanner Blake.

He enjoys spending his free time with his family, fishing and outdoors.
