AMITE, La. — Fresh off a strong showing against Brookhaven Academy Tuesday, the Adams County Christian School girls had a bit of a letdown in a 2-1 loss to Oak Forest Academy Wednesday.
Karrigan Eidt scored the only goal for ACCS, and head coach Jimmy Allgood said his girls didn’t play with enough intensity for an extended period of time.
“Once we scored our first goal, (my girls) turned up the intensity in today’s match,” Allgood said. “We took a lot of shots on goal in a 19-minute span. If our girls had played with the intensity they played with (Tuesday), we probably would have walked away with a 5-2 victory.”
ACCS trailed 2-0 at the half after Oak Forest scored in the 32nd and 38th minutes. Eidt scored her goal in the 67th minute of play.
The Lady Rebels (4-5) return to action next Wednesday at River Oaks School.
