Adams County Justice Court Cases
Week of Aug. 9-15:
Renard Wimley charged with possession of a Schedule V controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury. Wimley was also charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Keisha L. Johnson charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury. Johnson was also charged with possession of a Schedule V controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Cedric Knight pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.
Matteson Ford charged with domestic violence. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Adams County Circuit Court Cases
Wednesday, Aug. 14:
Dantrell Minor, who was convicted of introducing contraband into jail on Jan. 15, 2013 and sentenced to one year in the Mississippi Department of Corrections suspended and placed on probation for one year, has conformed to the conditions of said probation and has conducted himself in a law abiding manner. He has also completed the majority of his sentence, has abided by his conditions and has remained drug free. Probation is terminated in Judge Lillie Blackmon Sanders’ court and the defendant is discharged.
Jason Juana Roy, who was convicted of possession of stolen property and placed on one year probation on Aug. 28, 2012, has successfully completed said probation. Therefore, the defendant is discharged from probation and the charge is dismissed in Sanders’ court.
Natchez Municipal Court Cases
Tuesday, Aug. 6:
Hine Brown Jr., 42, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charge of disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.
Steven Hill, 20, charged with robbery. Waived preliminary hearing. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Brandi Swa’rae Ware, 20, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — second offense. Sentenced to 60 days with 54 days suspended for two years pending good behavior. To serve six days in jail. Banned from Belk. Fine set at $673. Ware also pleaded guilty to trespassing. Fine set at $160.
Friday, Aug. 9:
Antone Johnson, 24, charged with disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Case remanded to files at recommendation of prosecutor and agreement of officer.
Joseph C. Tucker, 20, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 20 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 10 days in jail. Fine set at $598
Monday, Aug. 12:
Amber Rose Morgan, 30, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 21 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve nine days in jail. Fine set at $598.
Semo Warren, 67, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.
Wednesday, Aug. 14:
Orinthia M. Bailey, 36, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 19 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 11 days in jail. Fine set at $573. Bailey also pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473. Bailey also pleaded guilty to willful trespassing. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323. Bailey also pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 19 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 11 days in jail — 22 total. Credit given for three days already served. To serve 19 days in jail. Fine set at $573.
Misty Kragenbrink, 33, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323. Kragenbrink also pleaded guilty to resisting arrest. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $523.
