Moroney promoted to chief technology officer

NATCHEZ — Britton & Koontz Bank recently announced the promotion of Curtis Moroney to chief technology officer.
Moroney joined B&K in 1996 as systems administrator, prior to which he had served as MIS manager with Lady Luck Casino and as an independent computer consultant.
A graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School, Moroney attended Auburn University.
A past president of the Natchez Rotary Club, Moroney serves as a host/guide for goodwill teams from foreign countries visiting Natchez and other cities in the local Rotary district as well as working on numerous other Rotary projects.
An active board member of the Natchez-Adams Chamber of Commerce, he has also served as the Krewe of Phoenix parade chairman since 2006. Moroney is a long time member of the Natchez Bicycle Club, is an active competitive runner, and serves on the Great Mississippi River Balloon Race committee as the events race director.
An active member of Jefferson Street United Methodist Church, Moroney is the father of two sons, Chas and Andrew.
