NATCHEZ — Eddie Hobson was recently named to the position of security officer at Britton & Koontz Bank.

Hobson will continue his responsibilities as area branch operations manager and assistant bank secrecy act officer.

Hobson has been with B&K since February 1994, starting as a teller and later moving into consumer lending and branch management.

In the role of security officer, he will be responsible for the physical security aspects of the bank.

A graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College and Alcorn State University, Hobson is a life member of Rho Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., and is a member of the New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church.

He is also the musician for several churches in Natchez. He is the son of Eddice J. Hobson and the late Eddie Lee Hobson.
