NATCHEZ — The flow of traffic at the intersection of U.S. 61, Linda Lee Drive and D’Evereaux Drive will be restricted starting today.

Overlay of the intersection near the new U.S. 61 flyover bridge will begin, and officials with the Mississippi Department of Transportation said some traffic movements will be reduced to one lane during daylight hours and possibly overnight during the overlay work.

The work, which is being completed by N.L. Carson Construction Company, is expected to last approximately two weeks.

The northbound lanes of U.S. 61 should not be affected by the overlay.
