Week of June 7-13:

James Pat McKnight pleaded guilty to headlighting deer.

Patrick Gibson pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon.

Natchez Municipal Court Cases

Friday, June 7:

Jennifer Matthews, 44, pleaded guilty to felony false pretense. Fine set at $520.88. Matthews also pleaded guilty to felony false pretense. Fine set at $491.98.

Tiffany Cain, 34, pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplifting — first offense. To serve 19 total days in jail for both cases. Fine set at $573 on each count.

Raythell Smith Jr., 26, found guilty of lesser charge of disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373. Smith Jr. was also charged with disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Case dismissed — officer was unavailable.

Alan Tremaine Thomas, 31, found not guilty of trespassing.

Tyrone S. Washington, 36, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 30 days with 18 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Twelve days served. Satisfied by time served. Fine set at $323.

Candace Goldsberry pleaded guilty through her attorney to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve two days in jail. Fine set at $573.

Antoinette Chambliss, 28, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Total fine set at $424.57.

Latonya Terrell, 38, nolo convicted to three counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days on each count to run consecutively. Fine set at $425.50 on the first count, $352.78 on the second count, and $389.00 on the third county.

Chadrick Akeem Watson, 19, pleaded guilty to violating the city’s noise ordinance. Sentenced to three days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $313.

Monday, June 10:

Cordell A. Thornburg, 38, charged with disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Case dismissed — officer not here.

James Wallace Jones, 70, found guilty of disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473. If some kind of counseling has been sought, $200 fine will be suspended.

Lashandric N. Nichols, 28, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.

Elvin Ivory II pleaded guilty to misdemeanor simple assault — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 27 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for three days served and to be released. Fine set at $623.

Larry Thomas pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for two days served. Fine set at $473. Restitution set at $125.

Dewone Ragland pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit given for one day served. Fine set at $545. Restitution set at $125.

Wednesday, June 12:

Latrice Appollonia Ellis, 27, pleaded guilty to two counts of misdemeanor false pretense. Sentenced to 30 days to run concurrently. Fine set at $414.72 on the first count and $378.51 on the second county.
