Week of May 31-June 6:
Derrick L. Frazier pleaded guilty to simple assault. Frazier was also charged with malicious mischief. Case bound over to a grand jury. Frazier also pleaded guilty to simple assault.
Traveles Matthews charged with false pretense. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Stephanie Anderson charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Marcus Crockett charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Charles Hamilton charged with three counts of burglary of a commercial building. Case bound over to a grand jury.
Anthony Washington charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Friday, May 31:
Carlton J. Hoggatt has his probation revoked in Judge Lillie Blackmon Sanders’ court for violating terms and conditions of his probation: rule No. 3 — regularly report to his probation officer as ordered; rule No. 6 — do not have any firearms or deadly weapons; rule No. 10 — do not violate any laws of the United States or any state thereof. Sentenced to five years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

William C. Ashley Jr., 45, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.
Candice M. Hardin, 23, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 48 hours in jail. Fine set at $573.
Lakisha Holmes, 24, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace by fighting. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $373.

Arthur Jenkins, 25, charged with malicious mischief. Case dismissed on motion of defense. Victim failed to appear and bench warrant has been issued. Jenkins was also charged with contempt of court — violated no contact order. Case dismissed on motion of defense. Victim failed to appear and bench warrant has been issued.
Patricia B. Marceaux, 53, charged with disturbing the peace by fighting. Case dismissed.
Shaina Williams, 26, found not guilty of simple assault.
Cedric Knight, 24, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473.
