NATCHEZ — Justin Sellers has joined The Natchez Democrat as a photographer and advertising assistant.

Sellers is a Purvis native and graduated from Purvis High School. He recently graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in photojournalism. At USM he worked as the photo editor of the student newspaper, The Student Printz. He also attended Ole Miss, where he studied biology before being called up for a one year tour of duty in Afghanistan with the Mississippi National Guard, where he served as a combat engineer.

He most recently worked as a photographer for The Vicksburg Post.
