FAYETTE — The 24-year-old woman whose body was discovered in a Jefferson County church cemetery Wednesday evening died of a gunshot wound to the chest, Jefferson County Sheriff Peter Walker said.
Walker said Traneccia Collins, 24, 1108 Old Highway 61 N., Fayette, had been dead a few hours when he arrived at East Mount Olive Baptist Church at 6:45 p.m.

No arrests have been made in the case, Walker said,
Anyone with any information about Collins’ death should call Walker at 601-597-8475 or Investigators James Bailey or Bobby Bailey at 601-786-3403.
