3rd arrest made in apartments robbery

NATCHEZ — A third suspect has been charged in connection with a March armed robbery at Holiday Apartments.

Natchez Police Detective Jerry Ford said Kenita D. Harris, 20, 1470 Dickens Lane, Crosby, was charged Thursday with armed robbery and credit card fraud.

Harris allegedly set up a man who was visiting her at Holiday Apartments on Old Washington Road to be robbed by three men.

Ford said the victim reported he was backing his vehicle out of a parking space at approximately midnight when two masked gunmen approached his vehicle and demanded money.

The men allegedly took two cell phones from the victim, as well as his wallet containing $800 in cash and both credit and identification cards, Ford said

Justin L. McGuire, 23, 601 Old Washington Road Apt. 5-E, and Devonta D. Perry, 21, 14 Rembert St., were charged in March with armed robbery for the apartment robbery.

Harris was also charged with credit card fraud because she reportedly used the victim’s credit card to purchase goods at Walmart.

An arrest warrant has also been issued for Jamario Williams, 27, 7-A Ann Road, who police believe was involved in the robbery.
