NATCHEZ — Gov. Phil Bryant has appointed Sue Stedman of Natchez to a six-year term on the Mississippi Community College Board beginning July 1.
She will represent the Fourth Congressional District. The state senate has confirmed her appointment.
“I look forward to working with Mrs. Stedman as we continue to move Mississippi’s community colleges forward,” said Dr. Eric Clark, executive director of the Mississippi Community College Board. “For many years Mrs. Stedman has provided leadership to various organizations at the local and state levels. She will be a valuable board member for our system.”
The Mississippi Community College Board is composed of 10 members who are appointed by the governor. The group serves as a coordinating board to Mississippi’s 15 community colleges.
