NATCHEZ — A 91-year-old Natchez man died from injuries he sustained Saturday night after his truck was struck from behind on U.S. 84 and flipped into a ditch.

Mississippi Highway Patrol Sgt. Rusty Boyd said John H. Buckles was traveling westbound in the right lane on U.S. 84 at approximately 7:23 p.m. near the Adams County Correctional Center when his vehicle was struck from behind by Cameron Collier, 34, of Natchez.

When Collier’s 2004 Chevrolet pickup struck Buckles’ 1991 Chevrolet pickup truck, Buckles’ truck was knocked off the road and landed upside down at the bottom of the hill on the right side of the road, Boyd said.
