NATCHEZ — Services for Joseph Carl Bath, 52, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 3 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Gary Howington and the Rev. Matt Bonsell officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mr. Bath was born Nov. 23, 1960, in Natchez, the son of Daniel White Bath and Helen Antoinette Lawshe Bath. He was a member of the Pentecostals of the MissLou. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Mr. Bath was employed by International Paper Company as an EMT and finisher. He was also employed by Jordan Carriers Inc., as the parts manager. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Mr. Bath was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ellen Arnold.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Jordan Bath; four children, Stephen Karabelen and wife, Stacy, and Melissa Murray, all of Natchez, Edy Brown and husband, Kerry, of Vidalia and Dogan Karabelen and wife, Tonya, of Woodville; 11 grandchildren, Micah, Mason and Maverick Morrison, Megan Naquin, Mallory Brown, Shianne and Jordan Karabelen, Trent and Alyssa Delozier, Hannah and Zachary Karabelen; one brother, Danny Bath and wife, Pat, of Clarksville, Tenn.; three sisters, Annie Marie Boyette and husband, James, of Moss Bluff, La., Helen Porter and husband, Danny, of Decaturville, Tenn., and Carol Rogers and husband, Ernie, of Tylertown; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Jordan and wife, Diane, and Herbie Arnold, all of Natchez; one sister-in-law, Virginia Young and husband, Phillip, of Carthage; a special aunt, Jeannie Porter Cotten of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Micah Morrison, Mason Morrison, Maverick Morrison, Jordan Karabelen, Charles Jordan and Doug Jordan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Boyette, Danny Porter, Danny Bath, Ernie Rogers, Keith Jordan, Heath Arnold, Kerry Brown, Dogan Karabelen, John Floyd, Stanley Perry, Trent Delozier, Zach Karabelen and co-workers from International Paper Company and Jordan Carriers Inc.

Memorials may be made to the Pentecostals of the MissLou Building Fund in Ferriday.
