WOODVILLE — Services for Linda Smith Butler, 79, of Norman, Okla., who died Thursday, April 4, 2013, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Newman Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Woodville.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Okla.
Mrs. Butler was born Feb. 7, 1934, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Edward L. Smith and Willie Cage Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rufus E. Butler II; two sons, Rufus E. Butler III and William Clinton Butler; one brother, Edward L. Smith Jr.; and two sisters, June S. Carter and Sherry S. King.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Lee Roberson and husband, Paul, of Norman, Ella Ruth Butler of Denham Springs, La., and Sherry Elizabeth Novak of husband, Ronny, of Natchez; two sisters, Donna S. Arnold and husband, Paul, of Woodville and Evelyn S. Harris and husband, Lynn, of Tyler, Texas; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
