FERRIDAY — Services for Joyce Ann Massey, 64, of Natchez, who died Sunday, March 31, 2013, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at The Pentecostals of the Miss Lou Church in Ferriday with the Rev. Gary Howington and the Rev. Tim Mahoney officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Vidalia.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the church.

Mrs. Massey was born Nov. 10, 1948, in Biloxi, the daughter of Cecil Steele and Roberta Fields. She was a lifelong resident of the Miss Lou and worked for a number of years as a nurse until her health no longer allowed her to work outside of the home.

Mrs. Massey was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Julian Massey; two sons, Jay Massey and wife, Gwen, of Natchez and Jeffrey Massey and wife, Ramona, of Ferriday; two granddaughters, Abby Massey and Maya Massey; two sisters, Jan Welborn of Laurel and Judy Steele of Lucedale; and one brother, Cecil Steele of Vicksburg.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Natchez Children’s Home or to a charity of choice.
