NATCHEZ — Services for Bertha Miller, 94, of Natchez, who died Sunday, March 24, 2013, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christian Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. John Scott Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Skinner Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Miller was born Nov. 28, 1918, in Natchez, the daughter of Ethel Jackson and Charlie Whiting. She was a member of Mount Nebo Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Junior Miller; and 11 siblings.

Survivors include three daughters, Betty Brown of Natchez, Theresa Miller and Barbara Miller Parker, both of Detroit; three sons, Junior Miller of Natchez, Tiff Miller and Ernest Miller, both of Detroit; special daughters she helped to raise, Sarah and Ethel Truly; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
