NATCHEZ — Services for Anna Laura “Sweetie” Griffin Knight, 57, of Natchez, who died Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. today at Christian Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. John Scott Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Ms. Knight was born Oct. 24, 1956, in Adams County, the daughter of Lonnie Griffin and Margurite Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather who raised her, Luther Chatman.

Survivors include two children, Steven Richard Knight and wife, Loonna, and Margaret Mariah Knight and companion, Charles Fuller; other special children, Kemethia Sylvester. Timothy Sylvester, Krystal Knight and Kendra Isaac, all of Natchez, Kimberly Johnson and Sylvester Johnson, both of Savannah, Ga.; two loving sisters, Susan Brice and husband, George Sr., of Natchez and Margaret Simmons and husband, Eddie, of Dallas; four grandchildren, Ashton Knight, Ashunti Harried, Riley Rogers and Katleen Neetles; just like a grandchild, Lela Reed; her children’s father, Richard Knight and wife, Estella; and a number of other special sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
