NATCHEZ — The Natchez Board of Aldermen is scheduled to meet with a developer today at a work session to discuss the potential development of scattered site housing in the Martin Luther King Jr. Street area.
The board will meet with Chartre Consulting, the same company that built the Stonehurst Arms development, at 6 p.m. at Magnolia Bluffs Casino.
Mayor Butch Brown said the meeting would be at the casino site at the arrangement of Chartre Consulting.
“We are having a presentation made (to us) on real estate, and we wanted a better, more private kind of place,” Brown said. “The guys who are doing the presentation are going to give us dinner — it’s a dinner meeting.”
