NATCHEZ — Graveside services for Julius Steele, 74, of Natchez, who died Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin County with the Rev. J.J. Bourn officiating.
Burial will follow under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. Monday until noon at Laird Funeral Home.
Mr. steele was born Sept. 5, 1938 in Bunkley, the son of Nonnie and Maebell Cloy Steele. He was a retired timber surveyor. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Rex Steele and his wife, Yvonne.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Steele; two sons, Jay Steele and wife Cara and Lou Steele, all of Natchez; three grandchildren, Mary Lee Steele, Kaitlyn Blaney and Logan Steele; and one sister, Ottie Whitehead and husband, Charles, of Lufkin, Texas.
The family would like to thank Dr. Brad LeMay, Dr. John O’Brien and Dr. Scott Wolfe for their caring and professional care. Thanks to all of the nurses and staff in ICU and Telemerty at Natchez Regional Medical Center for ther loving care and thanks to the Renal Care Group of Natchez for their long and special care.
