FAYETTE — Services for Gracie Bell Jackson, 65, of Fayette, who died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Claiborne County Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Greenleaf Baptist Church in Fayette with the Rev. Percy Turner officiating.
Burial will follow at Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Spencer Funeral home in Fayette.
Mrs. Jackson was born Dec. 25, 1947, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Jackson Moore and Arcola Thompson Moore. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Mrs. Jackson passions were fishing, collecting antiques, cooking, dancing and speaking her mind.
Survivors included four sons, Aaron Jackson and Johnny Jackson, both of Fayette, Floydell Jackson of Waldorp, Md., and Timothy Jackson of Jackson; four daughters, Sue Wolfe of Vicksburg, Trenessa Swilley of Hazlehurst, Stephanie Jackson of Pattison and Ethel Jackson of Crestview, Fla.; one sister, Lizzie Wilson of Fayette; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law; and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Frederick Hendrick, Kenneth Smith Jr., Burnell Swilley, Alonzo Ward, Daron Wright and Tracy Wright.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cedric Doss, LaVenski Jackson, Eric Moore, O’Neal Moore, Chester Savage and Vernon Wolfe Jr.
