NATCHEZ — Services for Avery Rich’ard Johnson Sr., 27, of Natchez, who died Friday, March 15, 2013, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Hope The Vision Center with the Rev. Stanley Searcy officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the church.
Mr. Johnson was born Jan. 3, 1986, in Natchez, the son of Darryl Johnson and Vontina Barfield.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Casi R. Johnson; grandfathers, Jesse J. Sylvester and Jesse L. Johnson; and one aunt, Patricia A. Johnson.
Survivors include his parents; one daughter, Zion Janae Givens; two sons, Avery Rich’ard Johnson Jr. and Caleb Rich’ard Franklin; three sisters, KaShay Johnson, Annisha Johnson, both of Natchez, and Darantra Johnson of Shreveport, La.; four special sisters, Shalonda Fleming, Debra Richards, both of Natchez, Jamee and Lacey Dunmore, both of West Palm Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Jaheim Johnson and Makalius Johnson; two nephews, Davion Franklin and Ahmod Franklin; grandparents, Anna Barfield and Della Conrad; great-grandparents, Clara Franklin and Pearlee Byrd; three aunts, Angela Johnson, DeAnna Jones and husband, Glendale, all of Natchez, and Clara Hardy of Chicago; five uncles, Jesse Johnson Jr. and wife, Tomiko, of Marietta, Ga., Terry Johnson, Jeffery Johnson of Mobleton, Ga., Eddie Johnson of Natchez, Kevin McGraw and wife, Latoya, of Edwards; godparents, Michael and Cynthia Barfield; Fredrick and Yolanda Smith and Patricia Tenner; a number of great-uncles and aunts; great-great-uncles and aunts; a number of godbrothers and godsister; and other relatives and friends.
