ABERDEEN — Services for John Standrod Callon II, 25, of Aberdeen, who died Friday, March 8, 2013, in an automobile accident in Hamilton, Ala., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Aberdeen with the Rev. Dudley Nash and Ms. Lucy Nash officiating.
Burial will follow at Oddfellows Rest Cemetery under the direction of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Saturday at the church.
John was born June 16, 1987, in Amory, the son of John Chase Callon and Lesa Mitchell Callon Young. He was a lifelong resident of Aberdeen and attended University of Mississippi. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Aberdeen.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jeanie Gordon Mitchell and paternal grandparents, John and Betty Callon.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Carsie Clark Young Jr. of Aberdeen; his father of Natchez; two brothers, Ben Chase Callon of Oxford and William Pierce Callon of St. Paul, Minn.; and maternal grandparent, Charlie Ben Mitchell of Aberdeen.
