NATCHEZ — Donald “Wade” Whalen, 51, of Natchez, died Tuesday, March 5, 2013, in Natchez.

A private service will be held.

Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Wade worked in the field of tool and die as a portable machine specialist and designer. He was an artist and an accomplished musician with the gift to play a variety of musical instruments and arrangements.

Wade had a number of talents and will be genially missed.
