NATCHEZ — Services for Trenton Delane “Little Trent” Simmons Jr., 30, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in Jackson, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cliff Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Russell Wagoner officiating.
Burial will follow at the Jersey Settlers Cemetery in Kingston under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday, both at the church.
Mr. Simmons was born Sept. 21, 1982, in Natchez, the son of Trenton Delane Simmons Sr. and Lee Ann Whetstone Simmons. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved camping and riding four wheelers. He loved animals, especially his pet Great Dane, Hurley. He spent all his spare time on Facebook.
Survivors include his parents; maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Jimmie Nell Whetstone; paternal grandparents, Reggie and Shirley Simmons, all of Natchez; aunts and uncles, Gene and Nancy Reagan, Danny and Pam Goldman, Clyde and Jan Simmons and David Simmons; and a number of cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Trooter, Justin Alread, Michael Davis, Deland Snelson, John Seyfarth and Jesse Horton.
Honorary pallbearers will be the men and women of D&D Drilling, men and women of Sports Center, Dr. Charles Borum and the staff of University Medical Center.
