ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. — Services for Dallas Payne Caston, 82, of Elizabethton, Tenn., who died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at his residence, will be at 2 p.m. today at Tetrick Funeral Home Chapel of Peace in Elizabethton with the Rev. Jackie Cox officiating.
Graveside services will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park under the direction of Tetrick Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home. Music will be under the direction of Michael Caston.
Mr. Caston was born in Mississippi, the son of Mase and Mary Hughes. He lived in Louisiana before moving to Elizabethton 13 years ago.
Mr. Caston was a U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retired employee of the International Paper Company in Natchez. He was a member of Hunter First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Dennis, Robert, Ray and Wordell Caston; and three sisters, Bobbie McGraw, Lucille McClain and Bonnie Sorey.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Ann Caston; one daughter, Patti Thompson of Bluff City, Tenn.; three sons, Larry Caston and wife, Patty, of Gray, Tenn., Gary Caston and wife, Beverly, of Vidalia and Kimbell Caston of Buffalo, Mo.; one sister, Kathleen Bledsoe and husband, Jimmy, of Shreveport, La.; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
