CLAYTON — Services for Geneva Beckwith Caston, 82, of Ferriday, who died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at Oceans Behavioral Hospital in Alexandria, La., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mark Baptist Church in Clayton with the Rev. Eugene Williams officiating.
Burial will follow at the Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Caston was born Feb. 9, 1931, in Gilbert, La., the daughter of Willis and Edna Madison Beckwith. She was a paraprofessional for Ferriday High School.
Mrs. Caston was a member of Mount Beulah Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Henry Thomas Sr. and wife, Fannie, of San Antonio and Terrence Thomas of Ruston, La.; six daughters, Dorothy Oliver and husband, the Rev. L.B. Oliver, of Clayton, Lillian King-Ceasor of Ferriday, Katye Jenkins and husband, Willie, of Shreveport, La., Lora Glover of Jacksonville, Fla., Thalia Woodruff of Goose Creek, N.C., and Erika Williams and husband, Tertullus, of Monroe, La.; two brothers, Lilliard Beckwith of Seattle, and Earl Madison of Los Angeles; 20 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
