FAYETTE — Services for John Percy Doss Sr., 66, of Fayette, who died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Jefferson County High School.

Burial will follow at Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday at the school.

Mr. Doss was born March 5, 1946, in Jefferson County, the son of Percy and Endie Lee Harried Doss.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Tameka Ellis Doss; eight children, J. Doss I, Ida Deal and husband, Jarvis, Robert Doss and wife, Tina, John P. Doss and wife, Deborah, Mac Doss and wife, Sharon, Rosie Herrington, Percy Ellis and LeDan Ellis; two sisters, Gloria King and Minnie Davis and husband, Daniel; one brother, Johnny Jones; six aunts, Florine St. Mage, Verlina Doss, Clara Johnson, Susie Butler, Pearl Jackson and Sarah Scott; one uncle, Willie Doss; two special friends, Robert Day and Charles Riley; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
