CENTREVILLE — Services for Alsee Wilson Weathersby, 74, of Gloster, who died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at her residence, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Centreville.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until service time Wednesday, both at the church.
Mrs. Weathersby was born Feb. 16, 1938, in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Horace and RoseAnna Wilson. She was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Weathersby was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Katie B. Wilson; one granddaughter, Kalissa Fields; and one great-granddaughter, Angel Fields.
Survivors include a loving husband, Leo Weathersby; six children, Debra Norwood, Roy Weathersby, Mary Collins and husband, Barry, all of Gloster, Linda White and husband, Albert, of Coles, Mario Weathersby and wife, Dionnie, of Clinton, La., and Amerzone Jefferson and husband, William, of Gloster; one brother, Oscar Wilson of Centreville; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
