LIBERTY — Services for Minnie B. Powell, 74, of McComb, who died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at West Jerusalem Baptist Church in Liberty with the Rev. Londia C. Weatherspoon Sr. officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Sunday at the church.

Mrs. Powell was born Nov. 14, 1938, in Amite County, the daughter of Edward and Essie Mae McNeil Simmons.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Survivors include a loving daughter, Elaine Simmons of McComb; one devoted son, Warren Simmons and wife, Mary Ann, of Clinton, La.; one sister, Quida Williams and husband, Warren, of Liberty; one sister-in-law, Bobbie Jean Simmons of Clinton; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
