NATCHEZ — Services for Tawana Carter Brewer, 43, of Natchez, who died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dallas Dykes officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday, both at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brewer was born Sept. 2, 1969, in Natchez, the daughter of Jerry Ray Carter and Carolyn Jane Gilbert Carter.

Tawana loved living life to the fullest. She enjoyed horses with her father since her childhood. She loved and cared for her animals — these were her children that she loved dearly.

Tawana loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed having cookouts and riding around with her best friend, Lisa Jones. Tawana enjoyed spending time with her friends, Terrell and Lisa Jones, Danny and Melinda Weeks, David Milton, Hank Brewer, Shelia Price and baby Luke.

Tawana and her family thank everyone for all their support.

Survivors include her parents; her fiancé, Clifton Smith of Natchez; three sisters, Tammy Mason and husband, Lee, Hope Cole, all of Natchez, and Cassie Fugiett and husband, Brooks, of Red Key, Ind.; four nieces, Peyton Carter, Haylie Cole, Maggie Mason, all of Natchez, and Paisley Fugiett of Red Key; and two nephews, Carter Fugiett of Red Key and Caden Jones of Natchez.

Pallbearers will be Terrell Jones, Peter Bland, David Milton, Danny Ray Weeks, Hank Brewer and Lee Mason.

Honorary pallbearers will be Buster Martinez, Mike Kirkland and William Wheat.
