To the chairpersons of Catholic Schools’ Week at Holy Family Catholic School, Mrs. J. Coulston, Mrs. J. Prater, Mrs. M. Briscoe, and co-chairs, faculty, staff and student body, celebrating Catholic Schools’ Week was an awesome week. To our community I would like to thank all of you for your positive attributes to our school.

On Monday, students paraded around the school’s campus and were given special treats of nachos and cheese, candy and juice.

On Tuesday, parents were appreciated with special gifts from classes, which included T-shirts, roses and candy a special breakfast.

On Wednesday, the school’s education partner, B&K Bank, hosted faculty and staff lunch for the day.

On Thursday, pastors, family and friends were invited to the school to be recognized.

On Friday, community members served as readers to the students.

Special thanks goes to Mrs. Porter, Dr. T. McGruder, Supervisor Darryl Grennell and the Rev. Clifton Marvel.

Also, community helpers were invited and stopped by to spend time with students, including Metro Ambulance and area firemen.

Hats off to a job well done.
